DAGGER called Dha
Burma - Myanmar, 19th century
Iron, silver, wood and marine ivory
Long. total: 42.5 cm; Long. blade: 22.55 cm
Dagger with wrought iron blade, single-edged and finished with a bevelled point.
The cylindrical section spindle is in marine ivory, while the ferrule is in wood covered with a silver yoke decorated with filigree friezes.
The scabbard is made of wood covered with silver and animated with an applied decoration of twisted filigrees and flowers.
