Flintlock scoundrel lock with flat body chiseled with historiated scenes from Genesis.

On the left of the plate, Adam almost falls, his knee bent, alongside the serpent of Temptation. In the center of the plate, at the level of the bassinet, Eve is engraved from the front, her hands concealing her chest, in a vegetal background. On the dog Adam is alone with Nahash.

The dog's screw, also called the nut, is concealed under an almost lunar face, round in shape and in relief. The bascinet is also carved with a winged face, the battery is perforated with plant motifs and finely decorated with foliage scrolls. The bassinet cover is animated by an anthropomorphic head finished in fire.

On the reverse, under the spring, a stamp is stamped with the initials CP and a horse.
