Wood, iron and copper
H.: 38.5; L.: 25.5 cm
The triangular-shaped blade is in openwork iron and animated on both sides with an incised anthropomorphic face and two knots with twisted strands. It is held down in a straight wooden handle wrapped in nailed copper yokes.
The forge work of the blade distinguishes it from battle axes and makes this weapon a prestige object that can sometimes be considered as a bargaining chip.
