Very large campanian red figured skyphos decorated on one side with a winged Eros holding in his right hand a large patera by its handle, and in the left a tambourine and a branche. The side B is decorated with a maenad holding an phiale with a kalathos and offerings in her left hand and a thyrsus in the right. Both figures are seperated by beautiful large palmettes and the ground is painted with little waves.
The rim is decorated with a dotted ovum frieze. The details of the wings, the jewelly, the clothing and the fruits on the phile are painted in added white and yello. Unusual size and rare representation.
