Breastplate, Louis XV period
France 18th century

H.: 34.5cm – Width. : 31cm

Made in two parts and brought together in the center, using fourteen rivets on a steel strip.
The perimeter is pierced with forty-four holes to sew the quilting. There are three rectangular windows and a button for the straps.
The front face is, polished, offers on the left side, the trace of the test bullet.
