On the occasion of the release of L'Esprit des formes, a monograph devoted to the work and life of the artist Antoine de Vinck, Aurélien Gendras and Renaud Régnier will present Jan. 7-24, 2016, alley 7, booth 284, A selection of exceptional and historical works. Antoine de Vinck (1924-1992), a ceramist sculptor, was one of the great creators of the second half of the 20th century who demonstrated the potential of a material that was long bounded to the decorative arts, thus opening the way to creativity for the following generations . Early in Africa, he found his sources of inspiration in the secular traditions of ancient or distant cultures and in an intimate knowledge of nature. Sculptures or everyday objects, Antoine de Vinck seeks above all to offer forms "inhabited", in a possible dialogue with both the body and the minds of those who live side by side. Aude de Vinck, co-author of the monograph Antoine de Vinck: The Spirit of the forms published in the Editions of the Revue de la Ceramique et du Verre, will dedicate the work Saturday, January 9th from 2 pm to 6 pm.
