Blued octagonal barrel, stamped on the left side "ELG" in a circle representing the ordinary proof of a black powder weapon in Liège in Belgium and a crowned "V", registered "VC 72" on the underside.

Steel chest, engraved with scrolls.

Decorated trigger guard en suite.

Fluted walnut stock.

Steel cap, with chiseled button.

Gravity repeater system.

Victor Colette, arquebusier in Liège around 1850/1860.

Missing a screw at the handle, old restoration.
