Mukahla flintlock rifle

Barrel with sides then round, held to the mount by eighteen silver nasturtiums, decorated with floral motifs. Flintlock, with iron lock. Iron rod, chiseled. Wooden frame with trimmings, silver nails and bone incisions. Stock decorated subsequently, enhanced with red pigments. The breech tail is enhanced with cut silver. The decor is completed with engraved silver ornaments. Trigger guard in chiseled silver, piece dated “1299” dates from the Hegira (October 23, 1881). Bone butt plate.
