A wooden statuette depicting the deity Hotei standing with a bundle on his right shoulder and a staff in his left hand. His kimono open over his plump belly, his large earlobes and his good looks are also among his stylistic characteristics.
He is one of the seven kamis of happiness and embodies prosperity.
