Description
Pair of minimalist Italian armchairs, designed by Auro Trivellato and produced by ALI Tencarola in 1972. They are composed of four identical cylinders and a smaller one for lumbar support, connected by two brass elements on each side. Their name 5C means 5 Cylinders. They have been completely restored: the cylinder foams were replaced with high-density foams, then reupholstered in a soft, stretchy Kvradrat velvet. They offer remarkable comfort despite their minimalist construction. Very rare pieces, production having remained confidential.
