Description

This is a rare set of eight dining chairs by Elizabeth Garouste & Mattia Bonetti, model Jour et Nuit, made in solid steel and bronze. Garouste & Bonetti began their collaboration and gained global recognition for their interior design of the Paris nightclub Le Palace in 1979. This model of chairs was designed by the duo in 1991, and edited by Galerie Avant-scene. They have been fully restored, and newly upholstered using Italian Dedar jacquard fabric reference Pazl, which is a silk satin and linen fabric mixing geometric elements and references to primitive art, suiting these chairs and Garouste & Bonetti mindset perfectly. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a part of modern design history.
