Beautiful square "Desert bar" rug by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac in tufted wool weave, published in 1985. Beautiful pattern, representing four stylized tigers drinking, whose tails are overhanging in each corner. The background is orange, with yellow, black and dark blue highlights, and a black border, and is signed JC de Castelbajac in the weft. A truly decorative piece, which we recommend hanging on the wall like a tapestry. This rug has been professionally cleaned, with very few signs of use. Dimensions include the overhanging tails.
