French artist Gabriel Laneyrie created this petit point embroidered panel in Paris in 1934, titled The Water Carrier. The tapestry depicts a beautiful French country village. Pastel colors like lilac, purple, and shades of green give it a soft and soothing atmosphere. It is framed in an oak American box. The panel, including the frame, measures 156 x 143 cm.
