Octagonal, rifled, mirror-finished barrel, marked "PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858 E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NEWYORK. USA NEW-MODEL" on the top and serialized "126796" on the bottom.
Cylindrical steel handlebar, longitudinally shaped upper part.
Closed frame. Six-chamber solid cylinder.
Brass trigger guard. Walnut stock plates, monogrammed in a cartouche.
Control punches.
Single action operation.
50% blue finish.
