Cast brass frame.
Ovoid pommel surmounted by a dome serving as a rivet button.
Twenty-six grooved handle.
Straight cross, wheeled keels, registered “385”, control hallmarks.
Double-edged blade, carp tongue; triangular flat at the heel, central ridge, control punches, marked “Talabot Paris”.
Leather scabbard numbered “1881 V 2593”, brass fittings, belt loop.
