Double-edged blade, a central ridge on one side and a groove on the second side.
Gunome type tempering line.
Nakago signed “Bishū Ju Nobuiyē”.
Lacquered wooden shaft, signed.

The yari was the main weapon of the samurai; it was used by troops to sever the hamstrings of enemy horses and bring down their riders.
