TEPPO: Japanese matchlock arquebus, with heavy barrel, signed.

Overall length: 98cm - Barrel length: 69.8cm - Muzzle diameter: 18mm
Heavy 5.185kg steel barrel with flats, flared at the muzzle; front and rear sights; the upper flat bears calligraphy and several proof marks. The underside bears a long calligraphy, the approximate translation of which is YA YAKU SAN UE MON SABU.
Flat brass lock plate with hallmarks. Steel pan and brass pan cover.
Japanese oak frame.
Wooden rod, later.
Very good condition. Suitable for shooting.
