A very beautiful floor lamp designed by Emilio Lancia in the mid-1940s. This model is characterized by a rigorously structured vertical composition. The polygonal stem adopts a slender line that reflects Lancia's pursuit of balance and monumentality. The whole perfectly illustrates the designer's Italian Art Deco style: refined proportions, discreet linear decoration, and the combination of noble materials in a controlled formal simplicity. The mirrored surface is highlighted with gilded lines and stylized geometric motifs, including arrows, within a controlled and symmetrical decorative vocabulary. The circular painted wooden base ensures structural stability and enhances the chromatic contrast. Its hemispherical opal glass diffuser, mounted on a brass head, softens the light. A truly beautiful piece that perfectly illustrates the Italian Art Deco aesthetic of the period. This floor lamp has been fully restored; the brass elements have been repolished, and the electrical system has been completely replaced.
