Very large globe from the 1930s-1940s. Repainted in the 1950s to create a cabinet of curiosities display with Latin inscriptions. Original mechanism restored and functional on both axes. Various retouching and restorations are visible, as well as the original map with French labels, which appear beneath the paint. Likely from the firm “Girard et Barrere”.
