Dolne-system revolver called "Apache"

Caliber: 7 mm pin

Revolver with punch and dagger system, "Dolne" known as "Apache", pinfire.
Hollowed-out cylinder, with six chambers, stamped "ELG" in an oval representing the ordinary proof of a black powder weapon in Liège, Belgium; control stamp.
Steel frame and articulated handguard, with 4 rings, marked "L. DOLNE INVUR" and serial number "4731".
Dog without a crest.
Retractable trigger guard.
Steel blade, four-sided with a central ridge; folding, with a locking notch.
Dual-action operation.

Lambert DOLNE, gunsmith from Liège (Belgium), inventor of the Apache revolver (folding revolver with brass knuckles, equipped with a folding blade). Patented in 1869 and 1870.

Very good original condition.
