PIPE-TOMAHAWK

Also called a peace pipe puzzle, this European-imported wrought iron tomahawk has an openwork decoration of a stylized heart and two fangs.
On the opposite side, the pipe bowl forms an outgrowth with a hemmed neck.
The wooden stem of the pipe also serves as the handle of the weapon; it is carved and studded on the distal part: the proximal part serving as the mouthpiece.
