Through this exhibition, the Castelin Cattin Gallery offers an immersion into the world of Mithé Espelt by bringing together a collection of emblematic works that illustrate the richness and diversity of his creation.

Conceived as a journey, the presentation brings together mirrors and boxes made between the 1950s and 1980s. Each piece testifies to the exceptional know-how of the artist, his work with glazed ceramics, gold and crystallized glass, as well as his taste for a reinvented nature, populated with birds, suns, flowers and plant motifs.

The exhibition brings together works from private collections, some of which are rarely shown to the public. By uniting them, the Castelin Cattin Gallery aims to offer a comprehensive view of an artistic world whose poetry, creative freedom, and timelessness continue to captivate collectors and lovers of decorative arts.

Presented on the occasion of the Paul Bert SerpeOe market flea market, this exhibition invites you to rediscover one of the most singular signatures of 20th century French decorative arts.
