From September 24 to October 4, 2026, the LVS Antiquités gallery, specializing in antique frames, presents the exhibition "Spheres." Through 50 works, artist Louis Baquet invites the public to discover a fascinating visual universe, bordering on fantasy, marine biology, and surrealism. Whether working in ink or pencil, the artist merges the animal, plant, and fungal kingdoms to give life to unique creatures. He has progressively enriched his large-format works by introducing color in ink. Deeply influenced by Howard Phillips Lovecraft and Hieronymus Bosch, he imagines a true otherness through his drawings (modes of communication, cults, deities). His dense and inhabited works conceal a multitude of details that are revealed only through careful observation.
His drawings are presented in frames from the LVS Antiquités gallery, dating from the 16th to the 20th century.
