An imposing centerpiece with a double patina, characteristic of the stylistic eclecticism of decorative arts under the Second Empire.
The whole rests on a wide, polylobed, molded, stepped bronze base with a dark patina. This base supports a substantial, richly gilded bronze pedestal, whose ornamentation draws directly from the Rococo style. It is abundantly decorated with acanthus leaves, powerful volutes, clasps, and asymmetrical cartouches, demonstrating a highly detailed and intricate carving.
The transition to the upper part is ensured by a central knot against which patinated bronze putti lean.
The shaft culminates in an architecturally designed, hexagonal capital adorned with round cabochons. It supports a luxuriant cluster of light arms. These arms are boldly shaped and sculpted with foliate scrolls. They terminate in gilded bronze sockets and candle holders, delicately chiseled with plant motifs, creating a final luminous flourish at the summit of the work.
The electrical connection was added later.
