Oval barrel, marked on top "COLT'S PT. FA MFG. Co N°1 HARTFORD, CT. USA N°2" between two Maltese crosses, serial numbered "9181" on the bottom.
Silver half-moon handlebars.
Steel frame chiseled with scrollwork, monogrammed with a "C" on the underside and "41 CAT" on the right side.
Crow-beak shaped stock, with checkered walnut grips, numbered "9181" on the underside.
Recessed trigger, also known as Mexican.

Approximately 9000 units were produced for this model.
