A cube. In this cube a cylinder. And in the cylinder, placed on the base, a spherical cap. The result: an ice bucket that can hold the ice cubes of your choice for five hours.

How many ice cubes can it contain? double that of a normal container, just enough for the longest evening of the summer.

The Cubo Portaghiaccio is part of this production of objects by Cini & Nils for Studio Opi which was very short but prolific. From 1968 to 1979, many of which were acquired by the Museum of Modern Art in New York
