Egg of emu finely engraved playing different colors of the shell in thickness.
True feat of engraving because of the delicacy and fragility of the shell.
A decoration of a kangaroo in medallion.
Fixed on a silver metal base decorated with fern leaves, and on a blackened wooden base.
Late nineteenth - Napoleon III period -
Convict work for the egg?
Good condition, but to note in the lower right of the medallion small fel of surface of engraving of origin, and in the back of the egg a fel of the shell of origin (formerly consolidated with glue, does not move ). Argenture a little tarnished.
