Large vase of the Italian Manufactory "La Cava", unique piece. Manufacture of artistic ceramics founded in 1956 in Lastra a Signa, in the Florence region, by the poet Alberto Caverni. Many artists were welcomed including Vinicio Berti, Alvaro Monnini, Bruno Brunetti and Mario Nuti, inspired by abstract art, primitivism and the informal. Bruno Brunetti and Mario Nuti were part of the Tuscan group called "astrattismo classico". The manufacture remained active until the beginning of the 60's. Its period of production was thus very short. La Cava strictly reproduces the artistic codes of the artists, who express themselves as if on a canvas.
