Total length: 43cm - Barrel length: 24.7cm - Muzzle diameter: 12mm
Octagonal barrels, with rifled bores, ribbon Damascus. They are marked on the top: LASSENCE – RONGE A LIEGE in gold in a blue cartouche; breech and breech tails engraved with scrolls. Silver front sights mounted in dovetail; sight notches adjustable in height by blued screws. Hallmarked with the Liège bench and numbered 3.
Flat-bodied locks, engraved with scrolls. Percussion operation. Hammers engraved en suite with a tortoiseshell finish.
Bridges with engraved finger rests.
Counter-plates representing wings, engraved subsequently.
Flat cap pommels.
Varnished walnut mounts with short, carved barrels. Checkered stocks.
Very good condition.
Varnished walnut box with brass corners and a brass cartouche on the lid. Green felt trim. Double-locking lock with key.
Complete with original accessories, including a high-quality ball mold and pouring ladle.
