Yatagan type blade with one cutting edge and one false edge, with hollow sides, marked "Mfr Imple de St Etienne Juin 1869".
Guard with quillon facing downwards, serial number "45020", closed ring.
Brass rocket with fifteen grooves, rivet button, spring facing outwards.
Control punches.
