FOLDING KNIFE called Navaja

Toledo, Spain

End of the 19th century

Brass, steel, scale and bone

Long. total: 39.6 cm; Long. blade: 18cm

Folding knife with slightly leafy blade in single-edged steel, finished in a point, marked “VALERO SUN ZARAGOZA” in capital letters.

Its handle, finished in a “rattlesnake tail”, is made up of riveted inserts of brass and dyed blond horn.

Blade in its entire length, never polished.
