Six-shot, single-action revolver, 99% blue finish.

Octagonal barrel signed on top: “SMITH & WESSON.SPRINGFIELD.MASS. ".

Opening tilts upwards.

Round blade sight and notched rear sight at the rear of the barrel stop.

Smooth barrel, pierced with six chambers and bears the patent date: “PATENTED APRIL 3 1855 JULY 5 1859 & DEC 18 1860”.

Spur trigger.

Rosewood stock with smooth and square finish, registered “59289”.

Control marks.

Walnut box, hook closure, interior covered with skin.

Very good condition, some pitting inside the barrel.
