Oriental flintlock pistol, great luxury

Long. Size: 58cm – Length. Barrel: 39cm – Cal. : 18mm

Barrel with sides, damascus, corolla mouth; richly decorated with three silver cartouches, friezes of foliage, architectural doors and flower buds in gold damascene. Finely engraved breech tail.
Flintlock, miquelet, chiseled and partially covered with gold. The bassinet cover is decorated afterwards.
Chiseled silver trimmings. Wooden wand with silver tip.
Wooden frame, entirely filigreed with silver scrolls, finished with gold damascene palmettes.
Silver pommel, with long tails, decorated with half-round bouquets finished in a button with a beaded frieze.
Beautiful state of conservation.
