Pair of Ottoman Empire flintlock pistols
Türkiye 19th century
Steel, wood, brass, horn, silver.
Total length: 54cm - Barrel length: 36.5 cm - Cal: 15mm

Sided then round cannons; bands on the top engraved and signed.
Round body plates, signed. Gooseneck dogs.
Brass fittings. Chiseled bridges engraved with zoomorphic heads.
Caps with short tails, decorated with brass with the motifs of a flower with a heart in relief, with a crescent moon and a flower on each side.
The walnut frames are studded with horn pellets and enhanced with silver threads.
Fake wands with brass tips.

Beautiful state of conservation.
