Sapper's sword with a thick blade

Long. total: 87.5; Long. blade: 66.5 cm
Gold-plated brass frame.
Smooth octagonal handle.
Cap with crowing rooster, sandy crest on its underside.
Crossing finished with quillons with lion heads; body knot with cartouche chiseled with a lion head on a sandblasted background.
Brass mitre chiseled with a line.
Strong curved blade with one cutting edge and one false edge, with grooves, non-regulation.
