Tilting, round, rifled barrel, hollowed upper rib, marked on the top:
“SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS.” USA PAT’D JAN. 17 & 24. 65. JULY. 11. 65. AUG. 24. 69. JULY. 25. 71. DEC. 2. 79. MAY 11 & 25. 1880”.
Silver half-moon handlebars.
Hollowed-out cylinder, with five chambers, serial number "45307".
Collective extractor.
Blue-finished trigger guard and dog.
Full mother-of-pearl grip plates.
Stock numbered "45307" on the underside.
Dual action operation.
