These embossed silver metal plates were used to adorn the saddles of Gaucho riders. The largest bears the name “Boiadeiro” in capital letters, against a background of foliage and flower buds. It is mounted on a wooden blade and is numbered “54”, accompanied by the shooting star hallmark.
The second centered “Francano” plate is decorated with a symmetrical decoration of flowers, leaves and birds, and is stamped “guaranto”.
Finally, the smallest, also mounted on a wooden blade, is centered with a round and concave medallion whose band contains the following initials: “MCES”. Its decoration is the richest: two large flowering branches in a scroll in a frame of pearl stripes.
