Pasiphae, daughter of Eliot de Perseus, wife of King Minos in Crete and mother of the Minotaur.

Minos her husband did not diminish his commitment to sacrifice to Poseidon a magnificent white bull that he had offered him, the god took revenge by inspiring Pasiphaé a passionate love for the animal.

From their union was born Asterion, says the Minotaur.
