Christine Spengler - The bombing of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, April 1975
Born in 1945, Christine Spengler is one of the greatest French war reporters. From 1970 to 2000 she traveled the world to cover conflicts and to witness atrocities. From Chad to Iran, via Cambodia where she immortalized the bombing of Phnom Penh by US aircraft, the photojournalist remained faithful to black and white shots to move rather than shock.
