It was not until 1948 that the ceramics of Mado Jolain, who trained at the Arts Déco School during the occupation were shown for the first time at the Salon of Decorative Art Workshops in Paris. A friend of contemporary ceramists such as Jacques Blin, Roger Capron, The Argonautes, Norbert and Jeanne Pierlot, Jacqueline Lerat ... Mado Jolain essentially created ceramics for the home, tableware and garden with enamelled decoration which became more stylized over the years.
