Brass mount, cap with laurel leaf border along the short tail.
Brown horn handle, filigree with copper wire, with thirteen grooves.
Rounded joint arch, three joined branches, rolled quillon, control punches.
Openwork tray with plant motifs and cut-out rosettes, numbered “49586”.
Straight blade with central fullers, marked “Manufacture Nationale d'armes de Châtellerault August 1915 – Adjt – d'Infrie – Mle – 1845 E”, control hallmarks.
Iron scabbard with a bail bracelet, stamped “49586”, control hallmarks.
