Ceramic vase decorated with a white cat, Edmond Lachenal, early 20th century.
This astonishing vase testifies to the virtuosity of the ceramist Edmond Lachenal, who distinguished himself from the end of the 19th century by participating in the largest Universal Exhibitions, and who collaborated with famous artists, such as Auguste Rodin. The artist's production is often made up of animal figures: roosters or, here, funny feline.
