Superb Louis XVI period straight secretary from the end of the 18th century.
Work from Eastern France in elm burl, rosewood and rosewood.
In the upper part, it has thirteen drawers, a door revealing a storage space whose interior is nicely inlaid and a shelf.
Its patina is magnificent and its play of contrast between the burr walnut and the rosewood offers a beautiful relief.
In the lower part, two doors open and reveal a storage compartment.
This secretary features magnificent marquetry and milling details.
Geometric shapes elegantly decorate the facade and sides.
It is dressed in pretty chiseled bronzes and topped with its period marble.
Secretary restored and treated.
