Verre Lumière est une société française crée en 1968 par le maître verrier et décorateur Max Ingrand (ancien directeur artistique de Fontana Arte de 1954 à 1967 ), la société d’éclairage Mazda ( filiale de Thompson) et la compagnie verrière Saint Gobain. Un des aspects du travail de Verre Lumière est de concevoir des éclairages adaptes à la spécificité des lieux créés, dans une vision d’unité de l’architecture et de la lumière. La société collaborera avec tous les grands noms de l’architecture de l’époque au travers de chantiers prestigieux en France et dans le monde entier.

Verre Lumière is a French company founded in 1968 by master glassmaker and decorator Max Ingrand (former artistic director of Fontana Arte from 1954 to 1967), the Mazda lighting company (a Thompson subsidiary) and the Saint Gobain glass company. One aspect of Verre Lumière's work is to design lighting adapted to the specific nature of the spaces created, with a vision of the unity of architecture and light. The company worked with all the great names in architecture at the time, on prestigious projects in France and around the world.
