France, 1803-1811
Steel, brass, leather, copper
Long. total: 99; Long. blade: 88.3 cm

Brass frame.
Cap with rivet button and long tail.
Handle covered in calfskin leather filigreed with twisted copper wire.
Branch arched at a right angle.
Oval-shaped earlobe.
Straight quillon with a rounded end.
Curved blade marked "Mature Nale Du Klingenthal - Coulaux frères Entreprs".
Leather scabbard covered with brass, with a slit between the two splints of the chape and chape; two suspension rings, iron dart.
Control punches.
