- Formerly in the personal collection of the Parisian dealer Geneviève Aymonier-Férault (1907-1969), her mark at the bottom left (Lugt 4296) - Subsequently offered in her gallery, 1964, no. 6 as “German School of the early 16th century” (Repr.)
Workshop reworking or second version by Della Rovere of a drawing currently held at the Louvre Museum (Inv. RF 38437, Recto).
