Emmanuel HANNAUX (1855-1934, France) : "Helmeted Roman Warrior Bust"

Old bronze cast with dark and nuanced brown patina representing a beautiful and young helmeted 

Roman warrior looking far ahead romantically.

Mounted on a large square base in white-veined red morello cherry marble. A square bronze board underneath finish the base of the sculpture.

Old edition cast signed "E.Hannaux" on the back of the left shoulder.

Bears the stamp "Colin & Cie Paris" at the bottom right of the rear edge of the bronze.

Good condition, very beautiful patina.

Note : Rear left corner of the first floor of the marble restored by professional  (approximately 3 cm wide and 2 cm high).
